Privacy Policy

Hire Aura is a professional services marketplace connecting clients, providers, and affiliaters. For privacy requests, contact privacy@hireaura.pro.

We collect information you provide, information created through use of the Services, and limited information from partners:

• Account: name, email, phone, password or social login identifiers, role (client, provider, affiliater), location, and profile details.
• Listings and content: service descriptions, flyers and photos you upload, messages, reviews, and connection requests.
• Payments: Stripe processes card and subscription data. We receive confirmation, amounts, and limited billing metadata — not full card numbers.
• Usage: pages viewed, device/browser type, approximate location, referral codes, and diagnostics.
• Cookies and similar tech: see Section 8 and our cookie banner.

We use personal information to:

• Create and secure accounts, and provide the marketplace, bookings, messaging, and affiliate hub.
• Process payments, subscriptions, platform fees, and affiliater commissions.
• Moderate listings and user content, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms.
• Match clients with providers, including optional AI-assisted recommendations.
• Communicate about your account, bookings, and (with consent where required) product updates.
• Comply with law and respond to lawful requests.

Legal bases (GDPR/UK GDPR): contract (to provide the Services you request), legitimate interests (security, product improvement, marketplace integrity), consent (optional cookies and certain marketing), and legal obligation (tax, accounting, regulatory requests).

We share information with:

• Other users, as needed for listings, bookings, reviews, and connections you choose to make.
• Service providers such as hosting, authentication, payments (Stripe), email delivery, and Google Analytics (only after you accept analytics cookies).
• Affiliaters, limited to commission-related transaction details when a sale is attributed to them.
• Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the Services.

We do not sell personal information for money. If we engage in “sharing” for cross-context advertising under CPRA, you may opt out via Cookie settings.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; and appeal a denial. California residents may also request to know, delete, and correct personal information and to opt out of sale/sharing. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Email privacy@hireaura.pro to make a request. We may need to verify your identity. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows. EU/UK users may lodge a complaint with their supervisory authority.

We keep account and transaction records for as long as your account is active and as needed for bookings, commissions, disputes, tax, and legal obligations. You may request deletion; some records must be retained for a limited period (for example payment and fraud logs).

We may process information in the United States and other countries. Where GDPR applies, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers of personal data.

Necessary cookies and local storage keep you signed in, protect the service, and remember this consent. Preferences, analytics, and marketingcookies are optional and used only after you accept them. Analytics and marketing tags run through Google Tag Manager (`GTM-PHNV5ZR4`) and Google Analytics; storage is granted only after you opt in.

You can change your choice anytime via Cookie settings. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent sign-in and checkout from working.

The Services are not directed to children under 16 (or 13 where that is the applicable age). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to a marketplace that handles accounts and payments. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change, and material changes may be notified in the app or by email. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated policy where permitted by law.
